Tai Chi and Chinese Weapons

FATAL FLUTE!!!

The realm of chinese weapons is not limited by the concept of 'this is weaponlike~' As long as it can dehabilitate someone with it, it's usable! case in point...

Flute attack: 'Over the rainbow'

The "Fatal Flute" in question was used by peasants, villagers and musicians for self defense.

The common theme in Chinese weapon forms (and indeed most forms of Chinese martial arts) is the poetry of the form itself. The steps are often very metaphorical to the point of being lyrical. The form illustrated above is the movement called 'Over the Rainbow' but there are others such as 'Dragon's tail disturbing water','Scoop up the Moon from Bottom of the Sea' and 'Wind Scatters Plum Blossom.' These names are often drawn from folklore, legend and Daoist myth.
